Netflix's "The OA" Just in time for the Holidays

I think it's safe to say that plenty of people nowadays are looking to be entertained. Whether you're looking to have a small escape from the day to day monotony of life, or just simply looking for something to pass the time. Entertainment is great for filling that void, God is too, but that's a later post. As the usual happens once the hectic business of the week finally settles comes the time to #netflixandchill and I really mean that. I'm not using it as some type of pseudonym or play on words I really mean it in the most decent way possible. Now while I've been pretty dedicated to Netflix what I've experienced on the platform compared to what others may think, could differ there is no denying that Netflix has become a powerhouse in the entertainment industry and is giving alot of other studios a run for their money. Netflix is amazing because they don't go through all the fluff that alot of other films/tv shows do. They are a dedicated network, distributor, streamer, and most recently production company.
Many of the productions that Netflix films, often fly under the radar before the general public realizes production has commenced. Next thing you know Netflix is releasing a new Netflix Original Series with viral capacity. Most recently Netflix released a new original series called " The OA ". I honestly can't go into too much detail about the show because I really thought it was that good. I will say that I've never watched a TV show that emotionally tapped into my core that way that " The OA " did. I was extremely impressed with Brit Marling's performance and writing of the story was absolutely spectacular. I was on the edge of my sit. It turned into one of those binges that I couldn't even keep my eyes away for because I had been watching for so long, then finally HAD to give into sleep and finish the very next day ! The casting was outstanding. The way the characters fit into the grand scheme of everything and how they had different issues that ultimately also related to each other was superb. For those of you that are " The Walking Dead" fans you'll also get to see an old friend with Scott Wilson also starring. From the very first episode I was hooked. I honestly would recommend you watching it when you have time. It will leave you thinking much differently and I don't really know how anyone could experience "The OA" and not be affected. For now, I'm not going to breakdown everything that happens in the show, I might save that for a later date. For now, I'll say go for the ride, just make sure you buckle your seat belt.
